Solo Swimmers
How to register as a Solo swimmer:
- Select the ‘Individual’ registration option, then select the relevant event
- Enter personal information details (e.g., name, address, etc.) per the prompts
- Provide two Emergency Contacts
- Enter relevant medical information
- Enter skipper and boat information*
- If relevant, enter your swim squad/club/school/corporation name to be considered for special prizes
- Indicate whether you are Under 18 years (if yes, see note about Under 18s consent form)
- Select participation type; this is either either Competitive (unassisted) or Assisted (wetsuit); 25km ultramarathon swimmers are not allowed to swim assisted
- Provide a link to your 10km qualifying swim*
- Complete a few other details about your participation
- Select size for hooded tee and order desired merchandise (select delivery fee if wanting merchandise posted to you; otherwise, it can be collected at race briefings)
- Read and agree to the 2024 Port to Pub Terms and Conditions
- If relevant, select a Charity Partner and choose available options for donations/fundraising
- Enter billing details and pay entry fee in full
*These details can be entered at the time of registration OR at any time up to 26 February 2024
Team Captains
How to register a team as a Team Captain:
- Select the ‘Team’ registration option, then select the relevant team option
- Enter personal information details (e.g., name, address, etc.) per the prompts
- Provide two Emergency Contacts
- Enter relevant medical information
- Enter skipper and boat information*
- If relevant, enter your swim squad/club/school/corporation name to be considered for special prizes
- Indicate whether you are Under 18 years (if yes, see note about Under 18s consent form)
- Select participation type; this is either either Competitive (unassisted) or Assisted (wetsuit)
- Complete a few other details about your participation
- Click ‘Add registrant to a team’ and create your team name and team code
- Ensure that you tick the box at the bottom to allow the team captain to see your registration; otherwise, you will get an error message (this must be done in case the team captain changes at some point in the future)
- Select size for hooded tee and order desired merchandise (select delivery fee if wanting merchandise posted to you; otherwise, it can be collected at race briefings)
- Read and agree to the 2024 Port to Pub Terms and Conditions
- If relevant, select a Charity Partner and choose available options for donations/fundraising
- Enter billing details and pay team entry fee in full
- Provide the registration link and code to the other swimmers on your team; team members should complete their own event registration forms (see next section for “Team Swimmers” below)

Note that team captains are responsible for ensuring their team entries are completed in full and with correct details. If there is a change to a team (e.g., new swimmer, skipper, boat, etc.), the team captain should update team details as soon as possible. See further down the page for information needed for skippers and boats.
Team Swimmers
How to register as a member of a team:
- Select the ‘Team’ registration option, then select the relevant team option
- Enter personal information details (e.g., name, address, etc.) per the prompts
- Provide two Emergency Contacts
- Enter relevant medical information
- If relevant, enter your swim squad/club/school/corporation name to be considered for special prizes
- Indicate whether you are Under 18 years (if yes, see note about Under 18s consent form)
- Select participation type; this is either either Competitive (unassisted) or Assisted (wetsuit)
- Complete a few other details about your participation
- In the Teams section – tick ‘Add registrant to a team’
- Select your team, then enter the code provided by the team captain
- Ensure that you tick the box at the bottom to allow the team captain to see your registration; otherwise, you will get an error message
- Select size for hooded tee and order desired merchandise (select delivery fee if wanting merchandise posted to you; otherwise, it can be collected at race briefings or KC)
- Read and agree to the 2024 Port to Pub Terms and Conditions
- If relevant, select a Charity Partner and choose available options for donations/fundraising
- Submit your registration

Age Categories
- Wetsuit only.
- Not classed as a Ratified Channel Swim.
- The 25km ultramarathon CANNOT be an assisted swim.
Registration Notes
Group Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to groups (i.e., swim squads, schools, and corporate organisations) with the most number of entries. Make sure to include this information on your registration form in order to help your group be considered for these prizes!
K&L Gates Corporate Cup
Teams of 4 and 6 are eligible to take part in the K&L Gates Corporate Cup. This award goes to the team representing a corporation that finishes in the fastest time. The winning team is recognised with a trophy, professionally framed photo, and $500 prize. In order for your corporation to be considered for the K&L Gates Corporate Cup, just organise your team, check the K&L Gates Corporate Cup box on your registration form, and start training!
Under 18s Consent Form
All swimmers under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian approval to participate in Port to Pub. The Parent/Guardian Consent – Persons Under 18 Years form should be printed, completed (with signature), and returned by email to [email protected] or mail to PO Box 2591, Mt Claremont WA 6010.
Skipper Registration Information
Team captains should register skippers with the following information:
- Name
- Address
- Mobile
Skippers must also provide:
- Skipper License #
- Fremantle Volunteer Sea Rescue Group # (if applicable)
- Boat Make
- Boat Length
- Boat Rego Number
- Do you have a mooring?
- If yes, mooring number?
Registration Fees
*Early bird pricing begins 01 Nov 2023 at 0800 AWST and concludes 08 Nov 2023 at 1159 AWST
