Main Event Briefing Recap

What a fantastic evening!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to attend the Main Event Briefing — it was a busy night of socialising, learning, and revving up for race day! Port to Pub and sponsor stalls were available for questions and purchases; participants heard from Port to Pub President Ceinwen Roberts and Euroz Hartleys Managing Director Tim Bunney; and swimmers received their competitor bags filled with race items and sponsor goodies. We even had surprise give-aways with prizes gifted from Hotel Rottnest, Subi Sports Massage & Physio, and Fiski. As a special shout out to our Port to Pub skippers who do so much for our event, we randomly drew skipper names for eight $200 Hotel Rottnest vouchers; read below to see which skipper names were drawn!

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation was successful with its silent auction of two gorgeous Sarah Lodge You Never Regret a Swim framed prints. The live auction for the original canvas painting takes place on Thursday, 14th March. For more information on the auction, email [email protected]. Don’t miss the opportunity to own this one-of-a-kind artwork!

Thank you to our sponsors who set up booths and supported the event, including doughnuts courtesy of K&L Gates!

Remember that ALL Ultramarathon and Solo swimmers as well as one representative from every Duo and Team are required to attend an event briefing. For those unable to make the briefing last night, the  International, Interstate, and Regional Competitors Briefing takes place on Friday, 15th March at 10:00am. Those swimmers should also make sure to read all the information in the Pre-Event and Event Day sections of the Port to Pub website to ensure that they have time to review all necessary information ahead race day.

The Skippers Briefing takes place Monday, 11th March at 6:15pm. More details can be found here; RSVPs to [email protected] are requested.

Get pumped — it’s nearly time for Rotto!
