Meet our sponsors - TAMS Group
Australian marine services company TAMS Group is once again sponsoring the Channel 7 Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest. The TAMS team plays a crucial part in the event, providing the huge TAMS Tugboat that sits at the 1500m mark of the race (swimmers must not proceed past this point until they have met up with their paddler and support boat). Did you know that the TAMS crew also lays out all the buoys for along the Port to Pub 19.7km and 25km courses?
TAMS Group is a privately-owned marine and port services provider. It has seven permanent onshore bases including Fremantle, Onslow, Dampier, Port Hedland, and Broome in Western Australia. It also has two bases in Queensland after it acquired Gladstone-based marine and port services firm MIPEC and Cairns-based Taylored Offshore Services in late 2018.
TAMS is a proven and flexible operator with vast capabilities across the marine and port sectors, providing port marine services and solutions, diving, dredging, marine construction and infrastructure maintenance, transhipping operations, harbour and coastal towage.
TAMS wide-ranging client base covers the port, mining and resources sectors, and includes Pilbara Ports Authority (Port Hedland), Sino Iron Project (Cape Preston), Chevron (Onslow), Woodside (Dampier) and FMG (Port Hedland).
