Event Briefings

There will be three race briefings held ahead of the 2022 Port to Pub

03 March 2022  - Skipper-only briefing

5:30pm (for 6:00pm start) - 7:00pm

Blue HQ 'The View' 7-10 Mews Rd, Fremantle

A skipper-only briefing to run through the important rules for event day. Skippers, if you attend this briefing you do not need to attend the main race briefing.

 

10 March 2022 - Main race briefing

Time:  7:30am - 7:00pm. Last safety video screening at 6:30pm. Come along when it suits you within these hours!

Venue: Jim Webster Pavilion, Claremont Showgrounds (Enter via Gate 2 on Graylands Road)

Event information and safety regulations. Watch a briefing video, screen every half hour. Swimmers collect your race packs here. Come any time across the day that suits you.

Solo swimmers must attend and one member from every team of 2, 4 or 6.

Skippers and paddlers can also attend.

 

18 March 2022 - International, interstate and regional competitor briefing

Rottnest Island Authority Briefing for Port to Pub Competitors

 

It is compulsory that a representative from each team and duo team attend an event briefing. Solo swimmers, paddlers and skippers (if you don't attend the skipper's briefing) must also attend. The event briefings outline key information for the race day, including registration, race rules, skipper and paddler information, the courses, wave start times, cut-off times, race official information, first aid and important emergency information. Skippers, if you attendthe skipper-only briefing, you do not need to attend the main race briefing.

Here you will pick up your race pack, meet other swimmers and listen to the important rules and safety regulations for the day.
