Race Day Weather Forecast

Expected conditions as of this morning (Friday, 15th March):

Mostly sunny with an air temperature near 22C at race start and reaching a max of 28C on Rottnest.

Winds from the east to east-northeast at 10-14 knots through most of the morning, tending light and starting to swing around to the south from 10:00am to midday.

S/SW sea breeze increasing to 12-15 knots by 2:00pm and sitting around 15-18 knots in the mid to late afternoon.

Low swell through the day, sitting about 0.5m from the southwest. Seas should be low through the morning with some easterly assistance from the wind, but the southerly chop will increase with the sea breeze to around 1.0m by late afternoon.
