Research for 25km Ultramarathon and 19.7km Solo swimmers

Doctors and researchers through the University of Western Australia are asking Port to Pub 25km Ultramarathon and 19.7km Solo swimmers to complete a survey to assess the incidents of swimming-related pulmonary edema (SIPE) and hypothermia in competitive and community-based marathon swimming events.

This survey is open to all 2024 Port to Pub solo swimmers in the 25km and 19.7km events. The purpose of this survey is to evaluate whether you experienced symptoms associated with SIPE and hypothermia at this year’s event. It should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
