Congratulations to Team HMMR, representing WA Health, with team members Maddi Beale, Pete Firth, Mathew Greenwood, and Rose Radic, who took home the stately K&L Gates Corporate Cup trophy and won $500 cash and a framed photo of their winning team.
Derby on the Water
For now, the Derby Cup remains with the Old Salts 26 — a six-man team of former Fremantle Dockers players Lee Spurr, Andrew Foster, Jamie Merillo, Matthew Taberner, Paul Hasleby, and Shaun McManus — who finished in a time of 5:58:06. They edged out The West Coast Owls, made up of former West Coast Eagles players Drew Banfield, Jamie McNamara, Mitchell White, Will Schofield, Nick Stone, and Ashley McIntosh, who crossed the line in 6:13:40. We’ll see what happens in 2027!
Australian Triple Crown
A round of applause to Andrew Donaldson and Elliot Nathan, who have now joined the Australian Triple Crown Honour Roll following their completion of the 2026 Port to Pub 25km Ultramarathon. This remarkable achievement recognises their successful completion of three iconic ultramarathon swims — alongside the Port to Pub 25km Ultramarathon, they have also conquered the 34km Derwent River Big Swim and the 24km Palm to Shelley.
